Because I like to think my opinions matter…

The word “sorely” is defined as painfully or grievously. To use it as an adverb to the word “missed” when you’re referring to someone who died is appropriate, however, connotes a rather negative implication, almost sarcastic in a way. At least, in my opinion that is, which is irrelevant anyway.

When I die, I’d like people to say that I’m greatly missed, or something to that effect…

  1. I think you are right. Sore is so negative. Greatly is better but profoundly missed would be awesome. Since profound is as deep as can be and of the greatest intensity. I want to be profoundly missed. 🙂
